Teleport Unveils Teleport Pink International Delivery Service
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Teleport, the logistics arm of Capital A (formerly AirAsia Group), has officially launched Teleport Pink today – a next-day international parcel delivery that allows customers in Kuala Lumpur to send anything to Singapore at a flat rate of RM40.

Teleport Pink is created to meet consumers’ increasing demand for next-day cross border delivery at a fixed shipping rate that is up to 80% lower than other delivery service providers in the market.

Pete Chareonwongsak, Chief Executive Officer of Teleport said, “At Teleport, we think logistics should be simple, quick, seamless and affordable; and we believe this standard should be the norm, not the exception. In recent years, the express parcel segment and eCommerce sector have seen tremendous growth in the global market at 7% and 22% per annum respectively, and as such have driven majority volume growth for the air cargo industry.

“With the launch of Teleport Pink, we intend to better capture this growing market by creating an opportunity to provide this service to the wider consumer market base to meet their demand for simple logistics connectivity across Southeast Asia with speed and value at the fore.”

He added, “Our exclusive access to AirAsia’s extensive network of flights across the Southeast Asia region, gives us the cross-border mid-mile logistics infrastructure advantage unlike any other – enabling us to deliver goods across this region with higher frequency and scale – making paying more for fast deliveries a thing of the past.”

Sabrina Khaw, Head of Growth at Teleport added, “Our capability to deliver fast, affordable air logistics across Southeast Asia through our mid-mile advantage has been a service that was focused towards meeting the needs of our business-to-business (B2B) customers and we continue to serve our B2B customers today.

“By introducing Teleport Pink as a service, consumers like you and me will now have access to an easy-to-use and affordable next-day parcel delivery – allowing them to meet their most basic cross border small package delivery needs – using the same logistics infrastructure. ”

She added, “With Teleport Pink, families now have the option to easily stay connected with frequent care packages; businesses can send urgent documents anytime to Singapore and back to Kuala Lumpur faster, and at a more affordable rate. Not forgetting also the specialty or premium product businesses now have the option to use Teleport Pink to cater to their customers’ urgent needs in a fast and affordable manner.

“The ability to send parcels overseas should not need to come with a hefty price tag, not a privilege only affordable to some. How we have developed Teleport Pink is in service to connect people in a different way and to give businesses affordable options to value-add and connect to their customers.”

Teleport Pink will be rolled out in phases, starting with specific areas within Kuala Lumpur to Singapore, followed by a series of new destinations in 2023, which will include expansion of service coverage area into other parts of Kuala Lumpur as well as other key Southeast Asia destinations, such as Bangkok, Jakarta and Manila.

In conjunction with the launch of Teleport Pink, roadshows will be taking place in key areas around the Klang Valley. Customers will be able to enjoy free delivery to Singapore for the first parcel during the launch campaign period, when they use the code “PINKFREE”.

Teleport Pink parcel bags can be purchased at selected myNEWS outlets, partnered co-working spaces like Common Ground, WORQ and Co-labs and vending machines across key locations like Sunway Pyramid and Lot 10.
