The event drew over 400 participants, including decision-makers from 220 companies spanning 30 different industries. This conference served as a platform for meaningful discussions, knowledge exchange, and collaboration to facilitate the effective integration of 5G technology in Malaysia’s business landscape.

The virtual inauguration was presided over by Fahmi Fadzil, minister of communications and digital, who highlighted the insights shared by global 5G experts. These experts demonstrated how leading global businesses have harnessed the power of 5G and complementary technologies like AI and IoT to digitize their operations, stimulate growth, and revolutionize various industries in leading markets.
Fahmi emphasised the desire for Malaysia to take a leading role in the development of enterprise 5G solutions, aligning the nation’s digital ecosystem with international standards to elevate its economy to greater heights.
The Tech Showcase portion of the event allowed attendees to witness a diverse array of 5G use cases and gain valuable insights into the vast potential and benefits of 5G technology. This technology has the capacity to enhance efficiency, connectivity, and innovation across multiple industries, including finance, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, education, logistics, real estate, energy, and utilities, among others.
