Beijing has launched “Robot World,” its first comprehensive robot exhibition center, in Beijing E-Town, also known as the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA). This permanent exhibition hall showcases the latest advancements in robotics across various industries, including automotive manufacturing, healthcare, and logistics.
At the exhibition center, robots are presented in futuristic scenarios, performing tasks like arc welding in automotive production, automated sorting in logistics, and even fully automated food preparation in the commercial sector. These demonstrations highlight the growing role of robotics in everyday applications.
The Beijing Robot Industry Park, spanning 250,000 square meters, is home to the National Robot Testing and Evaluation Center. This facility provides world-class testing and certification services across the entire robotics industry chain, ensuring the reliability and safety of components, modules, and complete machines.
Adjacent to this is the Beijing Embodied Intelligence Robot Innovation Center, which focuses on developing key technologies for embodied intelligence robots. The Innovation Center plays a crucial role in solving industry-wide challenges, driving technological advancements, and promoting the practical application of intelligent robots.
To further support the robotics industry, Beijing E-Town has established a Robotics Industry Incubator. This facility offers a range of services, including entrepreneurial guidance, project roadshows, and investment opportunities, aimed at fostering the growth of start-ups and expanding enterprises in the robotics sector.
Additionally, the Beijing Artificial Intelligence Data Training Base in the nearby Tongming Lake National Information Technology Application Innovation Park provides extensive AI computing power, crucial for training large models and advancing AI development. The base is part of a broader effort to build a comprehensive AI city within Beijing E-Town, supporting the integration and innovation of AI and robotics technologies.
Through these initiatives, Beijing E-Town is accelerating the construction of an integrated and interconnected robotics industry ecosystem. By clustering leading companies, fostering innovation, and providing robust support for research, development, and application, Beijing E-Town is positioning itself as a central hub for the robotics industry in China.
